This version of the Hebern machine dispensed with the Remington typewriter. Instead, it used a light indicator panel. The example pictured here is believed to be the prototype to patent 1683072 (Electric Code Machine E. H. Hebern, September 4, 1928. It contains a keyboard with lamps and has multiple rotors).
